香港の旅 - Day 01

Photobucket
I've been counting down to the day of arrival, and it's HERE finally! (: Can you imagine after tickets and hotel were booked, I started researching on places to go & which MTR station to alight where it's still 4 months away. HAHA!

I still remembered I trying to get some rest that night before we set off to airport, and end up I had only 1 hr sleep :(
Breakfast at airport as we were still early after check-in our luggage.

Upon the plane set-off, we slept in the plane as usual. As we thought we booked extra leg space seats, NO! We had difficulty sleeping. Our kneecap were touching the seat in front, kept woke up in middle.

After 4 hours of flight, we reached Hong Kong airport (:

Small shuttle bus service was provided by sending us to the arrival hall. Maybe because Jetstar plane was smallest plane so they provided the service of shuttle bus.

Airport do provide shuttle bus to our hotel at Mongkok East. The times was stated at their webpage. You have to search for Booth 01 at Arrival Hall, the ticket need to be purchase HKD 160/pax.

After that, they will give you a stickerss for indication and someone will guide you to the place to take shuttle bus. Travel time was less than 1 hour, maybe because the bus we took not much people.

The time when we board the shuttle bus.. HAHA.

I couldn't sleep on the bus, it's too shaky. So, I took the time to snap some scenery.

We finally reached our hotel, Royal Plaza Hotel.

We went to meet Ahma & Patrick @ Wong Tai Sin (黄大仙) first , as they reached before that day.
In fact, we should be taking same flight and reached Hong Kong the same day. Unfortunately, there were some changes in our flight timing. They changed their flight timing to earlier day afternoon flight, and we didn't change any.

The bridge can linked/walked to Prince Edward station & Mongkok East.

We reached, finally!

Wong Tai Sin Temple : Wong Tai Sin > Exit B

They don't sell top-up card there, instead we had to pay HKD 100 (I think) and told them what card we were using. Then, the sale person will print a receipt asked to call that number and followed instruction given.

And while we were waiting for them to reach (which was LONG), we went to shop at a mall. But nothing to shop there and we were hungry, breakfast at morning 4 plus till 1plus.
Went to pray after they reached. Long & wide steps up to the temple.

Our room wasn't ready yet when we reached our hotel. Thus, the person told us they gave us the Family Room instead. I was like 'WOAH! The room sure will be big one. *happy!'

Then, TADAH!! Small..
Their family room meant 1 queen bed and single bed, with a writing desk. Yes, I understand.

Bad point was, there was renovation on-going when we check-in hotel, meaning it's very noisy - drilling & hacking. And they provided us with ear-plug, which we never used. Because, we were not in room when the renovation started and when we're back, it's ended. HAHA!
Another bad point was, no nice scenery when I drew the curtain. All tree branches and leaves, and swimming pool at my extreme right (which I had to purposely tilted & see).

To conclude, I had no comment in the hotel room and services. Satisfiied! But, furniture all woody I had to say.

It's the way to buy tickets, and take our crystal cable car (:

We unable to go in and see Big Buddha because it closed, and we were behind schedule. So, we bought only to & fro ticket.

Patrick & Ahma always walked fast in front of us. So, in a few pictures you can see their back view.

Wishing tree..

Able to spot few cows there, and the dog to take care of cows? HAHA
Photobucket
Photobucket
And the most scary thing was, the cow will chase after people of hand holding food. They will use their horns to nudge/slight push you.

We only can see from far, as its closed :(

After that, we had to rush for the last cable car @5 pm. If we missed, it's either we bus-ed (which we don't know what bus to take) or call cab?

The sunset..

Dinner at The Spaghetti House before we started shopped at Citygate Outlet, which we thought there's things to buy there. End up, the apparels they selling wasn't cheap at all.
